CELLULITE REMEDI

A widely publicized medical journal article by Vanderbilt University, Feb 1999, showed that deep massage called endermology, can be of temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite.

A study from Vanderbilt University 2001 published in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery showed that deep mechanical massage can indeed help improve the appearance of cellulite.  This machine rolls and sucks the skin in a vacuum-like manner.  This form of deep massage aims to loosen and break down the fibrous bands and lumps of fat into a smooth layer.

This is costly treatments, twelve or more to start with, (usually done at a health spa) that needs to be maintained on the long term for the desired skin appearance.

Cellulite creams are available as a topical application to secure a smoother skin texture, not as a cure to the skin condition as such.
